The team consists of Kim Campbell, Dave Crawley, Andy French, Andy Godsall, Tim Johnson, Jerry Jones and Mark Kendall.
Kim Campbell
Retired Bakery manager and keen rugby player and supporter who played back row for many years including turning out for Cornwall. Has been involved in charitable initiatives for many years, raising significant funds for a range of causes. Since the war in Ukraine began in 2022 Kim has focused on supporting Ukrainian charities and has also completed two aid trips to Poland and six to Ukraine delivering to Odesa and Lutsk.
Dave Crawley
David is a retired business owner but says he busier now than ever. He is Involved with his local church, parish council, village social club and amateur theatre (backstage) and several community groups and has a passion for travel and sports. The rest of his time is spent jugging responsibilities of a foster family that includes a budding 16 year old thespian Ukrainian and a small holding. No jokes please. His passion for travel has extended aid trips to Ukraine and Poland – 20 to date and unfortunately, the likelihood of many more to follow.
Andy French
Andy moved to Cornwall in 2004 after a career in IT. Wanting to free up time for a then young family he started a self-catering business and the time left over quickly got consumed by roles in Looe Lions, Looe Music Festival, Pelynt Social Club, Polperro Darts League, OBS Patient Participation Group, Polperro Parish Council, Polperro Environmental Group and other local groups. In short he was busier than when he had a proper job. The injustices of the Russian aggression in Ukraine motivated him to assist in numerous groups getting aid to Ukraine and with various like minded individuals coalesced into what we now Aid2Ukraine. Have driven 4 ambulances to Ukraine, delivered 2 other vehicles and loads of aid over 6 trips, plus 3 earlier trips to Warsaw which included bring back refugees. Sadly further trips are planned for the foreseeable future.
Andy Godsall
Retired and now living in Polperro. A former trustee of Ellie’s Haven a Cornwall based charity. Involved with various local charities and other community causes as well Marie Curie. Can often be seen during December wearing a red outfit and white hair and beard. Hobbies include rugby and cricket but sadly no longer playing due to some body parts not being up to it. Has driven on aid trips to Warsaw and Ukraine.
Tim Johnson
Tim juggles his time working full time restoring vintage and classic cars mostly American with being an active member of Looe Lions and helps out when he can with Liskeard and Looe Foodbank. He loves to travel and back in 2017 visited Ukraine for the first time and fell in love with the country, culture and people. He has returned many times to various cities including Kyiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Pripyat and Odesa several times making many friends there. When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 he was informed by a friend that very little aid was filtering down to Odesa and that is when he said he would help and that’s when delivering aid to Ukraine started for him. He has been to Poland twice delivering aid for Ukraine and so far a total of 25 times into Ukraine times being pre and post invasion with many of those times to deliver aid. He has developed many contacts over the years that supply us with medical aid that runs into the hundreds of thousands of pounds in value and has no doubt saved many lives as a result. 2026 – Tim is sponsoring a Ukrainian soldier to stay with him.
Jer Jones
Has a great deal of previous experience of supporting difficult emotional people issues through his role as UK HR Manager for Kepak. Jer who like others in the group was a keen rugby player and a keen supporter. Since retiring in February 2025 Jer has committed support to Aid2Ukraine and is passionate about the practical and emotional support that we provide to Ukrainian people who have lost everything because of the Russian invasion of their country. Jer is an active supporter and fundraiser for A2U and has completed 2 aid trips in 2025; Odessa in May and Lutsk in October.
Mark Kendall
Mark says that he tries to do his thing where it’s needed and when he can. Doesn’t like bullies, injustice or seeing innocent people suffer and therefore tries to help out. Born and lives in Plymouth and has been involved in raising donations for Ukraine for 3 years and delivering them direct to Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa.
